What if I need to cancel or reschedule last minute? — Bears Moving Co. doesn't charge a cancellation or reschedule fee as long as you let us know at least 48 hours before your scheduled arrival window. Inside 48 hours, we'll always try to move you to the next available slot at no charge before considering any fee — closings get pushed back, weather changes, and life happens. Many other Atlanta movers require non-refundable deposits of $100–$500 that disappear the moment you reschedule, so always read the deposit policy in writing before you book.
How long does it actually take to move a 3-bedroom home? — A typical 3-bedroom Atlanta home with a 3-person crew takes 4–8 hours from truck arrival to final walkthrough, assuming the new home is within 30 miles, neither location has more than one flight of stairs, and the home is fully packed before we arrive. Add 1–2 hours for any of these: stairs at both ends, a long carry (more than ~75 feet from truck to door), an unpacked kitchen or closet, or a separate stop at storage. We give every customer a realistic time range — not a low-balled best case — so the final invoice matches the estimate.
