Quotes, Billing, And Scheduling

Quotes and estimates

Estimates provided through this site, by phone, or by email are non-binding unless stated otherwise in writing. Final charges reflect the actual time, crew, materials, and add-on services used on move day at the rates on your signed Service Order.

Hourly billing

Local moves are billed hourly with a minimum number of hours stated on your Service Order. Time begins when the crew arrives at your origin and ends when the truck is unloaded at your destination.

Flat-rate specialty work

Piano and other specialty items are quoted as a separate flat fee based on the instrument or item type, stairs and access, and mileage rather than hourly time.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Specific cancellation terms, including any deposit forfeiture, are stated on your written Service Order.

Payment

Payment is due at the completion of your move using the methods listed on your Service Order. Returned-payment and late fees may apply as stated there.

Liability, Insurance, And Claims

Coverage

We carry cargo, liability, and workers' compensation insurance as required by Georgia law. Default valuation coverage is the statutory minimum of $0.60 per pound per article, and higher valuation may be available for an additional charge if arranged before move day.

Items we cannot move

We cannot transport hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, ammunition, or propane, and we do not move perishables, plants traveling long distances, or items of extraordinary value that were not declared in advance.

Disputes and claims

If something goes wrong during your move, notify us within nine months as required under federal and state regulations. We will investigate and work with you in good faith to resolve the claim.

Customer Responsibilities

Disclose special handling

Tell us before move day about any item that needs special handling, including safes, pianos, oversized glass, and antiques.

Reserve building access

Reserve elevators, loading docks, and parking permits with your building or HOA so the crew can stage the truck close to the door.

Prepare your items

Empty drawers of breakables, liquids, and valuables, and disconnect appliances unless you have requested that service from us.

Be present

Be present, or designate someone, at both the origin and destination to direct placement and sign the paperwork.
