Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance for apartment buildings?

Yes — building-specific COIs are issued within 24 hours of request, usually the same day, naming your property, management company, and ownership entity as required. Send us your property manager's requirements when you book and we handle it with the building directly.

Do you charge extra for stairs, walk-ups, or elevators?

No. There is no per-stair, per-flight, long-carry, or elevator surcharge on any Bears Moving Co. apartment move. The hourly rate covers the work, whether that's a fourth-floor walk-up or a reserved freight elevator on the 30th floor.

Can you reserve the freight elevator for me?

We coordinate the elevator reservation with your building when you book, and we plan the crew's arrival around the window the property gives us. Some buildings require the resident to reserve it personally — we'll tell you which category yours falls into.
