How much do local movers cost?

Local moves are billed at our transparent hourly rate with a true 2-hour minimum. A studio or small 1-bedroom typically finishes inside the minimum, a 2-bedroom runs 3–6 hours, and a 3-bedroom home 5-7. Truck, fuel, drive time, equipment, floor protection, and insurance are all included.

Is there a fuel surcharge or travel fee?

No. There is no fuel surcharge, no per-mile fee, and no separate travel charge inside our service zone. The only travel cost is the actual drive time between your origin and destination, billed at your normal hourly rate.

Do you charge extra for stairs or elevators?

No. There are no per-stair, per-flight, or elevator surcharges. Walk-ups and elevator buildings take longer to work, so they show up in the hours — but the hourly rate never changes.

Is the 2-hour minimum real?

Yes. A true 2-hour minimum means exactly that: if the job takes two hours, you pay for two hours. We don't bill a four-hour minimum, and we don't add a separate 30-minute travel-time charge on top of the clock.

Often, yes. Weekday slots from October through April frequently have next-day availability for moves under four bedrooms. Weekends and end-of-month dates fill two to four weeks ahead during the May-September peak.
