How much does it cost to move a single piece of furniture in Atlanta?

Accepted Answer

Most single-item moves within Metro Atlanta hit our 2-hour minimum — typical total $300-$450 depending on access, stairs, and distance. Specialty items (gun safes, pool tables, large pianos) run slightly higher because of the crew size and equipment required. We quote on the phone — no surprise fees at the end.

Can you move a sectional up a walk-up?

Accepted Answer

Yes — sectionals up 3 and 4-flight walk-ups are routine. Tell us the brand and model if you know it (or just send a photo), the stair count, and the doorway width at the top. Sometimes the back legs come off, sometimes the door does too. We figure that out on site, no extra charge.

Do you move gun safes?

Accepted Answer

Yes, up to about 1,000 lbs. Safes 600+ lbs need a 3-mover crew and either ground-floor-to-ground-floor access or a manageable stair count (typically 1 flight, sometimes 2). We use a heavy-duty appliance dolly and a stair-climbing strap system. Send us the make/model and we'll confirm before we book.

Can you move a Peloton or treadmill?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Pelotons, Tread machines, and most treadmills move regularly. For Pelotons the screen comes off before transport; we bring the tools. Folding treadmills get folded and strapped. Heavier non-folding treadmills sometimes need partial disassembly — we'll know based on the model.

Do you charge extra for stairs?

No. There are no per-stair or per-flight surcharges. Walk-ups take longer than elevator buildings, so they show up in the total hours — but the hourly rate is the same.
