Every piece is wrapped before it leaves the room it's in. We measure against the narrowest point on the route — doorway, stair turn, elevator diagonal — and remove legs, hardware, or a door off its hinges instead of forcing anything through. On the other end we unwrap, reassemble, and set the piece where you point, then take the wrap with us.
Furniture moves bill at our transparent hourly rate with a true 2-hour minimum. Fuel, drive time, pads, shrink wrap, straps, dollies, floor and doorway protection, and basic disassembly and reassembly are all in the rate. There is no trip charge, no fuel surcharge, no per-stair or per-flight fee, no elevator fee, and no equipment rental line.
Most single-item jobs finish inside the 2-hour minimum. What pushes past it is distance between pickup and drop, a walk-up above the third floor, or a specialty piece — a safe over roughly 600 lbs, an upright piano, or a stone slab — which we quote after a quick photo and a couple of questions.
We don't do flat-pack assembly from the box, mount furniture or TVs to walls, remove built-ins, or haul junk. We move upright and spinet pianos only — no baby grands or grands. Anything requiring rigging, a crane, or a hoist over a balcony is outside our scope, and we'll tell you that before you book instead of on move day.
