How much does it cost to move a pool table in Atlanta?

Accepted Answer

Most local Atlanta pool table moves run $600-$1,200 depending on slate construction (1-piece vs 3-piece), stairs, and whether re-felting is included. A 3-piece slate professional table at ground level is on the lower end; a 1-piece slate table down a flight of basement stairs is on the higher end. We quote after a brief photo or video walk-through.

Do you disassemble the slate?

Yes — slate tables must be disassembled. We remove the rails, protect the felt, separate the slate slabs (1 or 3 depending on the table), and pad each slab individually. Movers who tilt a slate table on its side to move it whole crack the slate. We don't.

Will you re-level the table at my new house?

Accepted Answer

Yes — re-leveling to within 0.005" across the playing surface is standard on every pool table move. We bring a machinist level and shims. If the destination floor is too uneven to re-level (sloped concrete, soft subfloor), we'll flag it on the walk-through so you can plan.

Can you re-felt the table during the move?

Accepted Answer

Yes — we partner with an Atlanta cloth installer who can re-felt during reassembly. Adds about half a day. Many customers use the move as an opportunity to change felt color or replace worn cloth.

Which brands of pool tables do you move?

Accepted Answer

All major brands — Olhausen, Brunswick (Gold Crown, Centurion, Allenton), Diamond, Connelly, AMF, Valley, and most older or import tables. If you have a manufacturer and model handy, we'll confirm we have the right bolt and shim hardware on the truck.
